British Parachute School is based in the scenic Vale of Belvoir, 12 miles South East of Nottingham at Langar Airfield in the East Midlands. Built as a bomber base in World War II, the Airfield is now used exclusively by the Parachute School with TWO Cessna Grand Caravan turbine aircraft.

BPS Langar is a full-time school with training and jumping continuing all year-round. We are open seven days a week, every day of the year (except Christmas Day!). We have unlimited altitude, no other aircraft activities and no air traffic problems. Pilots and instructors are always present on the airfield, keen to get you jumping. Our staff will help you progress in the sport, providing complete training from BPA Category 1 (Beginner) to Category 8 (Qualified Solo Skydiver), and on to Formation Skydiving, Freeflying, Skysurfing and all other modern disciplines.

British Parachute Schools has been operating at Langar since 1977. Our jumpers make a combined total of more than 30,000 jumps each year - by British Parachute Association (BPA) statistics, we are the UK's busiest dropzone.

All instruction at British Parachute Schools is provided by British Parachute Association qualified Instructors.
