Skydive Langar is the place to be this coming season! If you’re into formation skydiving, freeflying, wingsuiting, or developing your canopy skills we have you covered. There will be events for everyone, ranging from high level skills camps to low level walk up groups. Here is a small selection of what we have in store…
2017 is our 40th Anniversary. There will be events throughout the year where we will ‘throw-back’ to the good old days, including a ‘jump-a-round’ weekend. Watch this space for dates!
25th-26th March
This year free flyers all over the world will be attempting to break head-up records. We have world record holder Paul Cooper here at Langar to build those head-up skills. Those with FF1 are welcome to join in this opportunity to blow those winter cobwebs off.
1st-2nd April
Everyone’s favourite FS team Chimera will be here organising a 6-way FS competition. Their wind tunnel scrambles have some hilarious rounds, and no doubt they will be keeping with the same theme of having serious fun!
1st-2nd July
Join Adam ‘Killa’ Mattacola and Luke Warren for a skills camp devoted to freefly and angle flying. If you don’t know Adam, where have you been hiding? He’s won a World Championship in Freefly and is an all round sky and tunnel ninja (even on his belly!). Luke works at the tunnel in Vienna and has won Silver at the 1st FAI Indoor World Championships, and Gold at the recent Wind Games in Empuriabrava. You’ll need to have your FF1 and TR2 to attend.
2nd-3rd September
This year we have Jonathan Charles and Oliver Ellis teaming up to run a couple of wingsuiting events. Flying a stack, transitions and flocking these guys have got you covered. Based on last years stuff, this is not to be missed.
